UNICARD designs, implements and services automatic ID systems using plastic cards (electronic and magnetic). We manufacture and supply devices, equipment, cards and software.

UNICARD S.A. was founded in 1991 and is one of few companies in Poland proud of realization of almost three thousand installations. Over the period of our existence on the market we emitted over 80 million cards.

Nowadays we market annually 3 - 7 million cards and serve several thousand companies.
The Polish standard PN-I-1000 on the terminology for ID cards (including bank cards) were prepared on the basis of a terminology used at UNICARD. Our firm takes part in activities of ISO and CEN.

UNICARD S.A. is based in Kraków, two Sales Branch Offices and regional personalization centres are in Warszawa and Poznań to support a speedy service for our Customers. Our licensed dealers support the Company activities in Poland.

Important achievements


Development and implementation of two pilot systems for Health Service in Warszawa - Praga South (300,000 memory cards, 372 specialized terminals, 31 servers, personalization centre) and in Katowice (400,000 memory cards, 200 terminals, personalization centre);
Design and implementation of the first system integrating independent ski lift operating on common cards in Poland - Białka Tatrzańska;
Implementation of over 30 systems for ski lifts (terminals, turnstiles, software, tickets in form of Mifare® electronic proximity cards or magnetic strip cards);
Installation of an extended work time recording system at the Katowice City Hall comprising the City Hall itself and its branch divisions within the city;
Preparation of a access control system integrated with a PKI system (ca. 150 controlled passages and ca. 1300 hybrid cards) for the Rzeszów Power Management in Rzeszów;
Delivery of a few dozen of Evolis printers for the National Health Service to print E-111 documents;
